We are an experienced and dedicated group of musicians who just love to play music and entertain people!

Our music is a fusion of Jazz, HipHop, Soul, Pop, Dub and Reggae, with an occasional light jazzy Drum n Bass rhythm thrown in, all performed live!

 

Whilst focusing on playing, writing and recording, we also have other focuses; Natty, Aina and Tom Y set up and continue to run Defcon Workshops; see below for more details on that, and thank you for taking the time to find about what we do..


Defcon Music Workshops

Defcon Music Workshops is an exciting outreach project, which works with young people all over the UK giving them a platform to create their own professional sounding music. The project is organised by Natty, Aina and Tom Y who have provided this service for the past 5 years. Using a mobile Recording Studio and CD/Record decks, they offer workshops covering DJing, Production, Singing and MCing. Participants learn about industry and business skills and are left with in some cases; their first quality demo.
So far the Defcon experience has been brought to London, Kent, Devon and Wales with plans for international expansion.
