Matt is an experienced musician but also experienced in the business of music, having worked in the upper echelons of the music industry for a very long time. He is also a former member of 'Sweetoof', the group voted 'Radio 1's Unsigned Band Of the Year' back in 2003, along with Natty and Aina.
Matt is the driving force behind Kaya. He brings a contemporary element to the band, banging out catchy, bouncy riffs for the others to join in at rehearsals and jump-starts the writing process. His music has been used for TV shows aired all over the world.
Matt is a reputable engineer who has produced remixes for Bob Marley, Jackson 5 to name a few, and has a main hand in the production of Kaya's studio sound.
